I've been reading about the work on the garden and congratulate the people involved. My son Russell, aged only 25 when he died ten years ago, lies at peace in Brandwood and, as I live in Spain, I am only able to visit a few times throughout the year, but it is always a wonderful place to come to, despite the very sadness of my loss. Congratulations, and a very BIG thank you! |

Go to the ABOUT tab on the website. Scroll down the page and under the photographs you will see link to Cemetery Plan. On the Plan is the contact number for the Cemetery Office. Have the date of death or date of burial to hand as there are some 84,000 burials at Brandwood End. |

The Memorial Garden is located on the left hand side of the main central driveway, approximately 50 yards past the Oak Tree Island towards the Broad Lane end of the Cemetery. There is a map of the Cemetery available from this website. |

What beautiful buildings? They are certainly worth saving for future generations to see what proper buildings look like . Not the square boxs they build today. |

So glad to hear about the work on the cemerary. My grandparents are buried at Brandwood and I remember in the fifities my Nan taking me to look at other family graves and how I loved to skip down the paths and read the graves nand pick up acorns. I found the entrance frightening as a little girl then and my Nan used to say Just hold my hand now. Is there a list of graves? The Moore family have a big site I remember but do not know where with Austin next to it not far from the entrance. My grandparents were Ernest and Florence Hemming. |

Dear Sirs, I would just like to say you all do a superb job in maintaining Brandwood End as it is such a massive cemetery but also the most beautiful and each grave is just so accessible due to all the roads through every area. Just superb! I have just had a headstone place on my deceased relatives grave and it will always be a pleasure to visit the cemetery to place flowers. |

We are trying to locate the burial of a tiny child, Edward Winwood. We believe he is buried with his parents, Emily Winwood and Osmond Algernon Winwood.Probably in the 1930s.
Many thanks in anticipation. |
