LITTER PICK - DATES
The next Litter Pick for 2008 will take place on:
SATURDAY 22nd November 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
These useful events take place during the morning between 10am and 12noon and we alternate between a Saturday and Sunday morning for each event.
It is quite an enjoyable couple of hours and anyone who can spare a little time to help will be more than welcome.
These simple bi-monthly concentrated 'clear up' operations really do help us to keep improving the general environment of the cemetery.
Thanks to all those who came to help on the last 'litter pick' in April - your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.
At the same time some will be weeding the restored Civilian Memorial Garden - now we have restored it, it needs maintaining. Just some simple hand tools and gardening gloves are all that you need. This is not a soft option to working on the litter pick as the surrounding hedgerow trench is very long and has lots of weeds.
